The company HP Velotechnik was founded in 1993 in the Frankfurt area and is now one of the most successful manufacturers of recumbent bikes in the world. In recent years, the manufacturer has been able to present many great new developments. These include the Scorpion fs 26 S-Pedelec presented in the last article and the single-track recumbent, Speedmachine S-Pedelec. Due to the many innovations and other reasons in recent years, the company was HP Velotechnik 2017 was recognised as a "committed company" and awarded the "Citizen Prize" by the savings banks. Furthermore, the SPD honoured the "innovative mobility" of the bikes in 2019 and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Selbstständigen presented the "AGS Award for Innovation 2019". HP Velotechnik is now one of the leading and largest recumbent bike manufacturers in Germany and supplies countless customers every year.
